You may remember Edmonton Impact’s amazing season-long run last year which had them winning the NXL World Cup, the Millennium Series World Championships and both league’s series season titles. It was an historic run. But 2017 is a new year and the start of a new season and everything starts at zero again! Buckle up it’s about to begin…
From the NXL
The National Xball League’s 2017 season opener will be held at the Craig Ranch Regional Park in Las Vegas March 17th – 19th! Located 10 miles (about 20 minutes) from the north end of the world famous Las Vegas strip; Craig Ranch Regional Park is conveniently just outside of the strip’s congestion, but close enough for teams wanting to enjoy the full experience of Las Vegas. With the speedway and downtown Las Vegas near by, there are plenty of hotel options for teams not wanting to stay in a casino along the strip. Being the vacation destination that Vegas is, there are also many beautiful homes available for large groups to rent and enjoy! Click here for more information on the NXL’s Host Hotel.
The Trade Show and Team Check-In will begin on Thursday March 16th. Games for the Xball formats will begin Friday, March 18th while 5-Man and 10-Man formats are played on Saturday and/or Sunday. There are two new divisions this year including a D5 5-Man for beginners and an Open Mechanical Division. Team and Player Registration for all eleven divisions is now open on-line here.
Grandstand Tickets: Perfect for the family
As with all NXL events, spectators are welcome to enjoy the trade show and watch the divisional games free of charge (even parking is free!). Those wanting to sit in the Pro Field Grandstands and cheer on the best players in the world will be able to purchase tickets online or in person at the event for as low as $10 per day/$25 for three days (adult) and $5 per day/$10 for three days (child). VIP Lounge: Upgrade to a table in the shade
What would Vegas be without a VIP lounge? A special VIP section will be set up along the pro field where VIP ticket holders can enjoy their drinks and treats while watching the Pro games from the comfort of tabled seating under a tented section behind the Pro Field start gate. Ticket holders will also have in and out access to the grandstand seating. NXL staff will be selling both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to both VIP ticket holders as well as grandstand ticket holders. Lounge passes are sold online for $25 per day/$60 for all three days. Buy your tickets now!
The NXL beer garden and family-friendly concessions will also be set up within the free trade show throughout the event. All major credit cards as well as cash are accepted at the event.
