Following on the heels of the successful and competitive 160R, the 170 adds new and updated features, style and performance to create what is certain to be yet another in a long line of hits for the company that continues to set the bar for competitive tournament paintball markers!
Overhauled for 2019, the new Eclipse GTek 170R features the time tested and proven Gamma Core spook valve drive system that is efficient, smooth-shooting, gentle on paint and simple to care for. Gone are all the external air lines in favor of a completely hose-free design routing air through the grip frame, incidentally where the regulator is also housed, which has moved the battery into the foregrip. The marker is all-metal and features a great degree of tool-less disassembly that should make care and maintenance quick and simple.
The rest of the Eclipse 170R is no less player friendly, as it offers a long list of standard features. The marker is delivered with a nice two-piece aluminum barrel fourteen inches in length with plenty of ports, a low-rise clamping feed neck, a blade double trigger and a full suite of electronic features and firing modes accessed through an OLED screen at the rear of the grip.
With smooth, sleek lines, a long list of standard features and an impressive list of upgrades for the new season and beyond, the new GTek 170R from Planet Eclipse looks and feels like a top level tournament marker, but is delivered with a remarkable retail price of $799!
