Houston Heat, one of the top professional teams in the NXL and a longtime G.I. Sportz team, was spotted during the 2016/2017 off-season wearing Virtue goggles, and it wasn’t long before an official announcement was released concerning the team’s choice of eyewear and other equipment for the upcoming professional paintball season. For 2017, it was announced by the team and Virtue, Heat will wear Virtue VIO goggles (replacing the VForce Grill goggles they had previously worn) and use the newest version of the Spire loader when they take the field (along with certain other products to be released later by the company). A stacked roster packed with impressive talent including the likes of Konstantin Fedorov, Chad George, Ryan Moorhead, Ronnie Dizon (recently moving over from Chicago Aftershock) and Chad Bouchez, and shooting the long-proven Luxe when they step inside the net, Heat is always a contender when they step on the field. With AC: Dallas, San Antonio X-Factor and Houston Heat all looking good for the coming season, Texas is going to be a tough draw for any of the other pro teams in the NXL!
