Longtime professional paintball team Infamous, famous for their recent wins with a skeleton crew, have made several major moves in the sponsorship world. A longtime Empire factory team with deep ties to the brand and company, when several members of the Infamous squad departed Empire for employment at Valken, the team had changes to make. Now a Valken top team, obviously Infamous will shoot Valken paintballs in competition and wear new Valken clothing, along with making use of a new Valken hopper that has been teased on social media a handful of times by Valken leadership. Infamous followed this up by laying down the Empire arms they helped make (in)famous and moving to legendary marker maker Planet Eclipse, where the team could pick up anything from poppet LV markers to CS Geo-style spool valve shooters, or even a mixture of the two. While change has certainly been the definition of the Infamous off-season, what is certain moving into the 2017 pro season is that with Planet Eclipse markers in their gear bags, it won’t be their guns that slow them down and they’re likely to remain a successful team no opponents want to see in their draw moving into the new season.
