We are at the Hyatt Regency Dulles Hotel outside of Washington DC for this 2017 Paintball Extravaganza event. The event got underway at 9AM this morning with a bevy of tech classes and of course the paintball products trade show. This year’s show featured dozens of paintball exhibitors, many of whom have been co
ming to the Extravaganza for years–companies like Planet Eclipse, Tippmann, Valken, Azodin, Dye, Ninja Paintball, First Strike, GOG, D3FY Sports, Exalt, Inception Designs, Virtue Paintball and many more. Different this year was the influx of Airsoft companies, numbering about a half dozen or more. And there was a handful of new paintball companies here as well, or at least new to the Extravaganza. Engler Custom Paintball Guns and Field One Paintball were two exhibitors new to the event this year and there were others as well.
Some of the new products that caught our eye today were the Inception Designs Predator Autococker and new pump kits with open source files/designs and a handful of new parts and accessories. GOG had their new Freak Barrel Kits, Luxe showed off their new custom anodized limited edition guns, Pinokio had their new 180 Pod Pack, Raza had their new padded reffing shorts on display and Planet Eclipse had a crowd around their new
Etha 2 With EMC kit and new gear bags… to name a few.
Classes continued in day two with nearly 20 class options/topics available. Wednesday also saw the industry luncheon, fund raiser and other happenings.
More coming tomorrow including some video coverage and reviews. Stay tuned.
